About The Position

The Intranet Specialist supports day-to-day operations, maintenance, and user support of SERVPROs enterprise intranet (SERVPRONET). This role works closely with the Web Operations Manager to ensure content accuracy, usability, and adherence to governance standards across corporate and franchise-facing sites. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and service-minded, with strong communication skills and an interest in digital platforms and the employee experience.

Requirements

  • 24 years of hands-on experience supporting a corporate intranet, website, or digital content platform.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format.
  • Collaborative, service-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple competing priorities.
  • Ability to follow established processes and governance standards.
  • Self-disciplined and accountable, taking ownership of work, following through and completing assignments in a timely manner.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to learn new tools quickly.
  • Bachelors degree in Communications, Digital Media, Information Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Interact, Unily or similar intranet platforms highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review content submissions for clarity, consistency, accessibility and compliance to intranet standards before publishing.
  • Assist with content audits and site health checks.
  • Help track content ownership and review cycles to ensure accountability.
  • Assist with publishing, updating, and maintaining intranet content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.
  • Support homepage updates, banners, announcements, and featured content as directed by the Web Operations Manager.
  • Apply and enforce intranet templates, metadata, formatting, permissions and publishing standards.
  • Support content publishing workflows, including page creation, updates and archiving.
  • Help consolidate, archive, or retire outdated content in alignment with governance guidelines.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for intranet-related questions, minor issues, and content requests.
  • Support intake and triage of site performance issues and bugs.
  • Provide hands-on support and guidance to department site owners and content contributors.
  • Help onboard and train new site administrators on intranet tools, standards, and best practices.
  • Document common questions, processes, and how-to guidance for intranet users.
  • Assist with permissions management, access controls and change management processes.
  • Pull basic usage reports and content analytics to support decision-making.
