You'll own the end-to-end inventory process across our entire family of brands, ensuring every piece of gear from high-performance helmets to essential parts is exactly where it needs to be for our customers. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Accounting, you'll translate complex data into clear insights, driving the operational efficiency that keeps our community moving and our business "Aiming for the Podium."

Requirements

• You hold a CPA license and bring 5+ years of accounting experience
• You have experience in retail, eCommerce, or consumer products
• You have a deep understanding of inventory accounting and systems
• You are a power user in Excel and feel right at home navigating complex databases.
• You thrive in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities with a Keep It Real communication style.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with JD Edwards or RetailPro is a major plus, but not a dealbreaker.

Responsibilities

• Master the Omnichannel Landscape: Own the end-to-end accounting, valuation, and reporting of inventory across our retail, wholesale, and e-commerce channels. You'll be the go-to expert for inventory-related processes, COGS, reserves, and internal controls.
• Own the Close: Lead the monthly inventory accounting close, including roll-forwards, gross margin analysis, and PPV analysis with high-speed accuracy.
• Support Process Improvement: Partner with our IT teams to automate systems and "Look through the turn" to find scalable, tech-forward solutions for inventory tracking.
• Share the Road: Work cross-functionally with FP&A, Merchandising, and AP to ensure landed costs, rebates, and freight are recorded with precision.
• Ensure Compliance: Maintain a "Helmet On" approach to risk by developing consistent accounting policies and leading the charge on annual audit requests.
• Navigate Variances: Monitor system reports and sub-ledgers to investigate discrepancies, ensuring our financial data is as reliable as the bikes we ride.
