PAG supports operators in the Airline, Business and General Aviation (BGA), Military and Rotary Wing markets through its Inventory Supported Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (ISMRO®) business model. JOB PURPOSE The Inventory Analyst owns end‑to-end materials control, rotable asset lifecycle, warehouse consolidation, and core handling. This role eliminates excess/aged inventory, enforces quantity/cost integrity, implements kitting, and ensures forecasting & min/max settings drive availability at the lowest total cost. The role will also lead ISMRO tracking for correct warehouse closure (to capture sales), coordinate AB/CB invoice processing with Materials and Supply Chain Ops Manager, stand-up a PAI Stock Group for core quotes, and drive continuous improvement across processes and data quality.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in inventory/materials management, rotable/repairable asset control, or MRO logistics. Demonstrated success by reducing excess inventory and improving forecast accuracy. Experience with warehouse consolidations and multi-site operations. Strong ERP/MRP mastery (item masters, costing, ROP/ROQ, ABC, SLOB reporting). Comfortable with structured problem solving (A3/8D), lean/5S, and process documentation. Financial acumen: standard cost/avg cost, PPV, write-offs, liquidation ROI. Excellent cross-functional communication (Repairs, Sales, Finance/AP, AB Group, Operations).
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or 4+ years of experience in supply chain and logistics materials management.
  • At least 3 years of related experience in inventory control.

Nice To Haves

  • aerospace/USM/rotables background, kitting program launches, and RMA triage experience.
  • APICS CPIM – Certified in Planning and Inventory Management preferred

Responsibilities

  • Qty/Cost Adjustments: Govern and execute controlled adjustments; reconcile variances; maintain audit trails.
  • Cycle Counting: Design and run risk-based cycle count program; track root causes and corrective actions.
  • Max/Min Reports (Materials & Rotables): Maintain data hygiene; tune reorder points, safety stock, and EOQ by location and item class.
  • Build and maintain demand and repair-return forecasts for Materials & Rotables; align with sales pipeline, ISMRO closures, repair TAT, and lead times; partner with Procurement for supply plans.
  • Warehouse Clean-up & Oversight: Standardize 5S, labeling, bin locations, and putaway/ pick paths.
  • Consolidate WH’s (PHP, PAI, LATIN, DOD, etc.): Lead location consolidation plan to reduce footprint, carrying cost, and split inventory.
  • Track ISMRO’s: Ensure correct WH closure to capture sales and prevent revenue leakage.
  • Excess Inventory Clean-up & Shipment: Identify, disposition, and ship; execute liquidation plans (sell/repair/return/scrap).
  • Core Handler: Stand up a repeatable process for cores; establish serviceable/unserviceable routing and recovery economics.
  • Create a PAI Stock Group: Build a specialized quoting lane for cores; set SLAs; manage quote-to-order conversion.
  • Receives all RMAs from Repairs Team to Make Determination: Triage RMA outcomes, disposition cores, and capture recoverable value.
  • AB Group: Partner with AB Group on inventory status, pricing, and disposition strategies.
  • Work with Repair Coordinator on Processing AB/CB Invoices: Ensure accurate/timely processing; reconcile inventory movements and PO/RO.
  • USM Trailer Clean-up: Inventory, reconcile, disposition, and integrate to master stock.
  • Kitting Start-up & Implementation: Design BOM/kit structures, locations, and kitting workflow; measure turns, fill rate, and kit cycle time.
  • Cross‑Coverage for Logistics Receivers and Repairs team. Step in during PTO/absence to assist in the areas in need.
  • Vendor & Partner Liaison for Non-Critical Items. Join periodic check-ins with non‑strategic suppliers or 3PLs to discuss packaging, labeling, or low-impact process tweaks. Provide feedback but not primary source responsibility.
  • Training Support & Job Aids. Create or update quick-reference guides (e.g., cycle count how‑to, ISMRO close-out checklist) and deliver refresher huddles with coworkers.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing for small configuration updates impacting min/max reports, bin logic, or kitting flows.
