About The Position

Come join us at our new 2.4 million square foot factory in Henderson, NV. The Inventory Associate 1 supports the Inventory department with all the materials related functions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Receive incoming materials from either external or internal suppliers. Identify and stock materials, with the Haas part number and according to established procedures. Issue materials to production work centers and fill out paperwork accordingly. Process basic inventory transactions on the computer. Perform cycle counts for area of responsibility. Expedite parts so that production does not stop. Maintain forklift maintenance & upkeep. Maintain aisles and housekeeping within the warehouse and or production lines. Must be able to operate both powered and non-powered material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jack, cranes, and mobile straddle stacker lift. Employees must report any damage to a supervisor or manager. • Employees are expected to follow instructions, procedures and to escalate any issue impacting workflow, quality, etc. • Employees must exhibit honesty and integrity as well as demonstrate adherence to rules, procedures and policies. Position is also depended on passing Haas forklift certification test. Basic knowledge of Inventory control methods, i.e., cycle counting, FIFO & location audits. Desired Qualifications Education High school diploma or high school equivalency (HSE) credential such as general education degree (GED) is required, plus an additional one to three months related experience, training and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Preferred Major Other Minimum Years of Experience 1+ years Language Skills Must have the ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions and safety rules; such as work instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Mathematical Skills Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. May need to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs. Reasoning Ability Must have the ability to solve practical problems.
