About The Position

Ford of Thousand Oaks is looking for a motivated, phone-savvy Inventory Control Representative to help us source vehicles directly from private sellers. This is an entry-level BDC-style position —perfect for someone who’s confident on the phone, hungry to learn, and ready to grow in the automotive industry.

Requirements

• Strong phone and communication skills
• Positive attitude and high motivation
• Comfortable making a high volume of calls
• Coachable and eager to learn
• Reliable, professional, and goal-oriented
• High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound and inbound calls to potential vehicle sellers from various lead sources
• Build rapport and generate interest in selling vehicles to Ford of Thousand Oaks
• Set appointments for customers to come into the dealership
• Work closely with the appraisal team (you do not appraise vehicles)
• Follow up consistently and professionally to maximize appointments shown
