About The Position

The Inventory Control Specialist supports the inventory control team in managing warehouse inventory accuracy and integrity. This role is responsible for locating missing items ("can't finds"), performing replenishment and cycle counts, resolving inventory discrepancies, and ensuring products are stored in appropriate storage mediums.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred but not required
Ability to read and understand basic instructions, safety rules, and procedures
Basic math skills to verify quantities and pricing
Strong attention to detail and time management
Self-motivated with the ability to manage changing priorities
Experience with sit-down and stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, or other equipment.

Responsibilities

Follow and implement the approved cycle count process, requiring strong knowledge of materials, locations, and problem-solving to resolve discrepancies.
Identify and escalate inventory-related concerns, documenting facts related to loss, damage, destruction, or unexpected additions of materials.
Use system-generated reports to identify inventory requiring systematic and physical movement; restock warehouse supplies across buildings as needed.
Relocate and rework product when necessary.
Review discrepancies recorded by put-away and replenishment personnel and research item/location records to resolve issues.
Re-slot materials based on size, volume, and product movement direction.
Identify and help resolve barriers affecting receiving, put-away, replenishment, or shipping processes.
Process customer returns in accordance with company procedures.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
