About The Position

ZEV Technologies is a growing business producing award winning lines of pistols and rifles in addition to providing the most comprehensive line of premium upgrade parts for GLOCK. ZEV customers can be confident they are carrying the best product available whether it is in the competitive arena, the battlefield, or to their local range. We are seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in our new location in Riverton, UT. The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and ensuring efficient inventory flow within the organization. This role supports production, purchasing, and shipping operations by ensuring materials are available, properly tracked, and stored.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • 2+ years of inventory control experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Basic math and data analysis skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Inventory accuracy and reconciliation
  • Problem-solving and root cause analysis
  • Time management and prioritization
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
  • Ability to work in warehouse or production environments

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in lean manufacturing or continuous improvement
  • Certification such as APICS/CPIM
  • Forklift certification

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP or inventory management systems
  • Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits; investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment with purchasing and production teams
  • Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of materials and finished goods
  • Track and manage raw materials, work-in-process (WIP), and finished goods inventory
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, shortages, excess, and obsolete stock
  • Coordinate with receiving and shipping to ensure accurate transactions
  • Maintain documentation for inventory transactions (receipts, transfers, adjustments)
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
