About The Position

The Inventory Coordinator oversees inventory operations, ensuring accurate stock levels, efficient supply flow, and cross-departmental coordination to meet organizational and customer demand.

Requirements

  • One year certificate from college or a technical school, 3-5 years of inventory control experience in a distribution or manufacturing environment, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple inventories simultaneously
  • Must have excellent math skills and utilize sound judgment and reasoning capabilities to resolve problems.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate, both orally and written, in a professional manner.
  • Stand-up Forklift experience
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems, Spreadsheet and Word Processing software, and Outlook Office software.
  • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
  • Work environment is normally in an office setting.
  • Must be able to make frequent rounds in a warehouse/production environment
  • Ability to view a computer screen and type for extended hours
  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time
  • Other physical requirements include moderate standing and occasional squatting, bending, and twisting
  • Must be able to wear any required PPE such as scrubs, hair net, lab coat, and facemask
  • Ability to work around a variety of different smells and aromas
  • Ability to adjust work schedule as business needs require.

Responsibilities

  • Cycle Counts material in various warehouses and locations for accuracy, posts totals to inventory records, and resolves discrepancies.
  • Assist in preparation of warehouse for year-end physical inventory.
  • Process customer and vendor returns, including working with the QA, Customer Service, and Product Management departments.
  • Resolves inventory discrepancies such as lot numbers, quantities, bin locations, etc. as reported by warehouse Material Handlers or other warehouse/production personnel.
  • Assists with the communication and preparation of Production Work Orders.
  • Generates Work Order documents, product labels, and logs work orders.
  • Performs inbound receiving functions in database and confirms receipt accuracy by following procedures for marking and tagging pallets before inbound stock put away processes are carried out.
  • Update Bin locations in database based on Material Handler stock movement sheets.
  • Compile and enter daily operations data into monthly report spreadsheet.
  • Assists in the management of the Quarantine area inventory by working with Product Managers and QA departments.
  • Attend monthly complaint and non-compliant inventory meetings.
  • Performs inventory adjustments monthly
  • Coordinates disposals when necessary
  • Other duties may be assigned
