About The Position

Join Sharp Business Systems as an Inventory Coordinator, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring our equipment and supplies are organized and flowing smoothly. You'll be instrumental in supporting internal operations, including purchasing, inventory transfers, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education.
  • Previous warehouse experience (3-5 years), demonstrating reliability and proficiency in inventory management.
  • Physical fitness to lift objects weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally, and ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and ability to operate a 15-foot box truck.
  • Proficiency with computers, including experience using inventory management systems like SAP and generating system reports.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, lift gates, and RF barcode-scanning devices.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating a forklift is advantageous.
  • Previous exposure to project management tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, for generating reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently unloading and loading trucks with a variety of products.
  • Operating forklifts to safely store merchandise and materials in our warehouse.
  • Promptly purchasing and receiving materials into our system to maintain accurate inventory.
  • Organizing and stocking shelves and supply rooms to ensure optimal levels of inventory.
  • Picking, packing, and shipping daily supply and part orders with speed and accuracy.
  • Assembling new equipment as needed to meet customer demands.
  • Completing bills of lading and necessary paperwork for inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Tracking and managing incoming and outgoing stock to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
  • Ensuring meticulous inventory control, including equipment fixed assets and cycle counts.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Assisting with the return of non-company assets and coordinating with other teams as required.
  • Cross-training with fellow inventory coordinators to provide support and cover additional tasks as needed.
  • Supporting deliveries and field installations to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Managing daily trash and recycling operations to keep the workspace tidy.
  • Performing other duties as assigned to support team goals and operational efficiency.
