About The Position

The Inventory & Supply Chain Manager is a strategic and operational leader responsible for end-to-end inventory planning, forecasting, and supply continuity across capital equipment, consumables, and service parts. This role partners closely with Commercial Leadership, Service Operations, and Global Supply Chain teams to develop accurate demand forecasts, optimize inventory levels, and ensure uninterrupted product and service part availability across North America. The ideal candidate is proactive, data-driven, and highly collaborative, with the ability to balance working capital efficiency with service excellence and revenue growth objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (required).
  • 5 – 10+ years of progressive experience in inventory management, supply chain, or demand planning.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP and Oracle.).
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce.).
  • Proven track record of improving forecast accuracy and reducing stockouts.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment.
  • Cross Function Team Player: Ability to work in a cross functional team environment.
  • Influential: Ability to drive change through influence.
  • Business Acumen: Proficient at uncovering key business issues and providing insightful, actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Communication: Advanced verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Commercial Leadership to establish and maintain accurate rolling forecasts for:
  • Capital equipment units
  • Consumables and accessories
  • Collaborate with Service Leadership to develop and maintain service parts demand forecasts aligned with:
  • Consumption
  • Installed base growth
  • Failure rates and reliability data
  • Preventative maintenance schedules
  • Lead monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) reviews and demand alignment discussions.
  • Proactively monitor inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted supply of:
  • Capital units
  • Consumables
  • Service parts
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels that balance:
  • Revenue protection
  • Budget forecasts
  • Working capital efficiency
  • SLA compliance
  • Customer satisfaction
  • Establish minimum/maximum levels, safety stock parameters, and reorder triggers.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to stockouts, excess inventory, or obsolescence.
  • Develop contingency plans to address supply disruptions.
  • Partner closely with North American and Korean Supply Chain teams to align production, shipment timing, and replenishment strategies.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between Commercial, Service, Operations, and Supply Chain.
  • Ensure forecast accuracy and communicate changes in demand patterns proactively.
  • Support new product introductions by developing inventory launch plans and supply ramp-up strategies.
  • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards including:
  • Forecast accuracy
  • Capital, Consumable, Service Inventory
  • Fill rate / service level
  • Backorder rate
  • Aging inventory
  • Provide executive-level reporting and actionable insights to senior leadership.
  • Leverage ERP/MRP systems and data analytics tools to drive decision-making.
  • Implement best-practice inventory and demand planning processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain resilience and efficiency.
  • Improve cross-functional visibility and communication related to inventory planning.
  • Facilitate and participate in cross-functional project teams and department team meetings.
  • Ensure timely completion of assigned training and expense reporting.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
