About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Planning & Replenishment Specialist to join our team. This full-time position offers $21.02 per hour and works a Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule, with a flexible work schedule and a blend of in-office work plus 2 hybrid days per week . In this role, you will be responsible for planning and replenishing products across multiple warehouses to maintain target inventory levels. The ideal candidate will develop and execute cost-efficient replenishment strategies that improve supply chain performance while delivering exceptional value and world-class service to customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or 3+ years of experience in inventory planning
  • Strong experience and knowledge of ERP systems; Epicor Kinetics preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Ability to multi-task and remain flexible in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Exceptional communication and influencing skills

Responsibilities

  • Place timely and accurate purchase orders
  • Partner with suppliers to influence on-time deliveries
  • Achieve cost savings by aligning shipments with projected cost increases and decreases
  • Balance supply on hand with price breaks and economic reorder quantities
  • Identify alternative product options to reduce supply outages
  • Approve alternative service options such as cross-docking, future release orders, and drop ships
  • Collaborate with Sourcing Specialists and Demand Planners on new items and customer-specific stocking requests
  • Oversee customer stocking agreement expiration dates and renewals
  • Research and resolve stock discrepancies
  • Drive continuous improvements to optimize replenishment and delivery efficiencies and communicate solutions to leadership
  • Supply vendor demand projection reports and identify and resolve potential fulfillment issues
  • Provide packaging consultants and customer service representatives with customized customer inventory reports
  • Prepare and monitor monthly aged inventory reports
  • Manage the Inventory Planning and Replenishment group email box to provide company-wide supply-related support
  • Assist with bi-annual physical inventory and cycle counts at each site
  • Proactively establish and maintain effective and respectful relationships with support departments and management
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships through collaboration, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Help ensure competitive positioning and high levels of customer satisfaction
