Learn more about WCSC Live 5 at Live5News.com Live 5 News is looking for an investigative/ special projects producer/photographer to help with our award-winning investigative team. We are looking for a strong journalist with an investigative background. This position will be someone who researches, field produces, and helps shoot investigative stories & specials. They will work with management, reporters, and anchors to develop and provide high-quality content for targeted specialized reports as well as our daily newscasts.
Requirements
- An ideal candidate should have at least 2 years’ experience as a producer, MMJ, or Online journalist.
- The successful applicant’s background must include, at a minimum, a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualizing & scheduling targeted special reports
- Making & tracking FOIA requests
- Producing specials, podcasts, OTT segments as needed
- Some photography as needed for investigative stories
