The US base salary range for this full-time position is $142,000-$205,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in employee relations/investigations, gained in either an HRBP role, Employee Relations Advisory role, or equivalent experience as an employment attorney practicing employment law.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience establishing best practices and knowledge management for investigation protocols and Human Resources (HR) compliance issues.
  • Experience in employee relations, employment law, or ethics and compliance.
  • Experience establishing domain expertise, exercising initiative, and using judgment across multiple workstreams to influence organizational goals.
  • Experience in project and program management, with the ability to influence leadership and manage cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ability to synthesize information and persuasively convey recommendations to stakeholders through written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, maintain diplomacy, and influence stakeholders, third-party suppliers, and international teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough and timely investigations and grievance resolution for violations of Google’s Human Resources (HR) and extended workforce policies, Google’s Code of Conduct, and Google’s Supplier Code of Conduct.
  • Prepare, track, and maintain appropriate investigation data and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with our partners in Employment Legal, Employee Relations, Regulatory Affairs, and Security Investigations and Assessments.
  • Provide risk insights or trends to Product Areas and Extended Workforce Solutions (xWS) to support their risk mitigation efforts.
  • Anticipate and escalate high-risk issues or supplier non-compliance to Product Areas and central functions like Procurement, Extended Workforce Solutions (xWS), and Employment Legal.
