About The Position

Under administrative direction, uses extensive knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience to work with a variety of financial products, including public and private debt and equity financings, mergers and acquisitions, and financial advisory services. The analyst will contribute to and generate ideas throughout the entire transaction process. Works independently on difficult assignments that are broad in nature, requiring originality and ingenuity, with appreciable latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions. Leads multiple large projects with significant scope and impact.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of Fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of Investment Banking.
  • Fundamental investment concepts, practices and procedures used in the securities industry.
  • Financial markets and products.
  • Skill in Communicating effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Applying analytical skills to assess and explain market events.
  • Solving problems and thinking independently in order to develop and market ideas.
  • Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications, including Microsoft Office and established databases.
  • Ability Gathering information, identifying linkages and trends, and applying findings to reports.
  • Attending to detail while maintaining a big‑picture orientation.
  • Remaining cognizant of the commitment to daily workflow and regulatory compliance during high‑volume activity.
  • Organizing, managing, and tracking multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast‑paced work environment.

  • Bachelor’s: Accounting (Required)

Responsibilities

  • Develops financial models to assess debt and equity financing alternatives for transactions.
  • Performs valuation analyses, including comparable company analysis and discounted cash flow analysis, on target companies.
  • Provides valuable input on equity offerings, valuations, private placements, and mergers and acquisitions advisory work.
  • Researches, analyzes, presents, and drafts documentation elements for developing transactions.
  • Develops client presentations.
  • Follows current events in respective industry groups and keeps bankers informed about critical issues in the news relevant to current and potential clients.
  • Maintains files related to active and prospective deals.
  • Maintains group databases, including the Deal Database and Weekly Status Reports.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
