About The Position

BlackArch offers a full spectrum of advisory services to financial sponsors, private companies, and diversified corporations, addressing the needs of owner-operators, founders, and shareholders of private companies with specialized services that include M&A advisory, strategic advisory and private capital solutions. The firm has built significant sector knowledge in key industries and has organized select industry practice groups to meet its clients’ needs in the areas of: Aerospace & Defense Automotive Aftermarket Building Products & Infrastructure Business Services Consumer Products & Services Distribution Energy & Industrial Services Food & Beverage Industrial Products Life Science & Healthcare The BlackArch Investment Banking Associate will play a crucial role in developing and strengthening BlackArch’s client relationships and in driving the transaction process. Incumbents are expected to have the Series 79 & 63 licenses or be able to obtain them within three months of employment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable undergraduate college / university, MBA preferred
  • 2-4 yrs prior relevant experience preferred
  • Strong analytical, quantitative, sales, and communication (written and oral) skills
  • Ability to think strategically
  • At this time, this role is only open to former BlackArch Investment Banking Summer Associates.
  • Incumbents are expected to have the Series 79 & 63 licenses or be able to obtain them within three months of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluating and analyzing client needs, including the formulation and positioning of a client’s distinctive qualities with a focus on competitive differentiation
  • Drafting documentation and marketing materials for transactions, as well as constructing financial models
  • Maintaining client communication, often directly with senior management team members
  • Participating in transaction structuring and execution efforts with high levels of responsibility and accountability
  • Mentoring/supervising Analysts
  • Identifying and developing business opportunities
