As an Investment Executive, you will actively promote the sale of investment and insurance products such as mutual funds, annuities, life insurance, long term care insurance, stocks and bonds and maximize the sale of appropriate investment products in the bank environment to generate fee income.

Requirements

  • Series 7 and 66(63/65) required
  • Insurance license required
  • Minimum of 3 years of investment sales experience required.
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, make decisions and analyze data.
  • Must have exceptional sound business discretion, good judgement, interpersonal, analytical, mathematical, problem solving and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle challenging situations with poise and tact
  • Strong and effective customer service skills, with professional and courteous style of communication.
  • Valid drivers’ license along with the ability and willingness to travel to various sites required

Responsibilities

  • Generate new investment business through personal contacts, telemarketing efforts and existing clients.
  • Analyze customers’ financial status and goals, including monitoring of current investment account, in order to advise clients regarding suitable investments and strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Branch teams in order to generate referrals.
  • Train Branch and other relevant employees on the investment products and services offered as well as the referral process.
  • Educate customers about the various investment products, risks and long-term benefits.
  • Develop and present seminars for customers on various investment related topics.
  • Follow-up on referrals generated by Bank employees and direct mail.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations governing the sale of investments.
  • Ensure compliance with the Bank’s investment policies and cross sell UniBank products and services.
  • Act as a liaison between UniBank and LPL Financial and ensure compliance with all employment standards.
  • Maintain sales materials and complete client files.
  • Formulate annual budget of department sales goals and objectives and works within those guidelines.
  • Maintain required licenses via continuing education.
  • Represent UniBank within the community by participating in various business, civic and service organizations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
