About The Position
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Iron Workers for projects located in the Jacksonville, FL area . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $23-25/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements
- Ability to weld structural components and perform ironworker duties
- Experience with structural steel installation
Responsibilities
- Perform structural steel erection and ironwork installation
- Complete welding tasks as required (stick, MIG, or flux core depending on project needs)
- Install beams, columns, braces, and other structural components
- Bolt, align, and secure steel members using appropriate tools and equipment
- Assist with rigging, connecting, and placing structural steel
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and layout drawings
- Operate grinders, torches, impact wrenches, and other ironworker tools
- Follow all job site safety requirements and OSHA standards
