Job Summary We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented ISO Management Specialist to join our Enterprise Quality Department. This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring compliance, administration, and control of the company’s comprehensive management system in alignment with strategic goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will lead efforts to maintain ISO standard compliance through effective documentation, training, and execution of internal and external audits. This position plays a key role in cultivating a culture of excellence and driving continuous process improvement across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a quality related field, with a preference for candidates with experience in the distribution transformer industry or related electrical equipment manufacturing and relevant certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of quality systems use, development and maturity.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ISO standards.
  • ISO 9001 auditing experience.
  • Experience using continuous improvement tool set.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaboratively collaborate with teams to drive improvements.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrated skills working in QMS software platforms and developing configuration changes.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate teams to achieve compliance goals.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement in quality disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the ERMCO Quality Management System is maintained and adhered to by providing guidance and support to cross-functional teams.
  • Support internal and external audits to ensure certification and compliance with the ERMCO QMS.
  • Evaluate audit findings and implement appropriate corrective action.
  • Analyze quality data and identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Support the setup, development, and administration of ERMCO’s QMS software platform.
  • Configure QMS software parameters and modules to support system continuous improvement and maturity.
  • Plan and manage projects related to the implementation of QMS process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation and training programs, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality manuals.
  • Ensure that documentation files and history records are accurate, current, accessible, and aligned with the company’s policies and procedures.
  • Deploy standard tools, methodologies, practices & processes.
  • Conduct training sessions for staff members to raise awareness of ISO and ensure awareness of their roles and responsibilities in maintaining compliance with these standards.
  • Promote a continuous improvement environment.
