An Outbound SDR is responsible for generating new business opportunities by proactively reaching out to potential clients. This role is a critical part of the sales team, acting as the first point of contact between Global payments and its prospective customers.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect Outreach: Initiate contact with leads through cold calls and emails to generate interest around our Payments and Payroll products. We utilize sales tools such as Outreach, Salesforce, and Dialpad for efficiency.
  • Qualify Leads: Identify and assess the needs of the business to identify if they would be a good fit.
  • Set Appointments: Set and schedule meetings between the qualified leads and the sales team.
  • Track outreach activities and follow ups using CRM tools to ensure consistent pipeline growth.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with your designated sellers to ensure smooth handoff and alignment.
