Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, this Summer, we’re looking to add an IT Analyst Intern located in our Buffalo Grove, IL site. Reporting to the IT Manager the Intern will be mainly focused on completing a mid-term team project and occasionally helping with short-term tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s level student pursuing a degree in Computer Science or an affiliated discipline such as Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Engineering
  • Strong Full‑Stack Development Foundations (.Net/APIs) Knowledge
  • MS Office Suite.
  • Strong SQL (PL/SQL, T-SQL) & Relational Database knowledge.
  • Experience in data analytics.
  • Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills as well as organization, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to learn and understand complex manufacturing processes and the back-end (IT) architecture that supports them.
  • Available to start on June 1st and work 40 hours/week (in-person) for 10-12 week Summer assignment (Mon – Fri)
  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year accredited university
  • 3.0 minimum GPA

Nice To Haves

  • Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and ITIL knowledge is a plus.
  • Previous internship or experience in manufacturing/supply chain processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Attend internal meetings and conversations with different departments (such as finance, procurement, planning, supply chain, quality, warehousing) to gather business requirements and translate into technical requirements.
  • Solve complex problems.
  • Create, enhance, and maintain complex reports/dashboards (SQL-Based) to provide real-time data to top management (Analytics).
  • Collaborate with local/regional/corporate multi-disciplinary / multi-cultural teams.
  • Create work instructions to final user for training/education purposes.
  • Create technical documentation for system enhancements.
  • Occasionally, attend customer meetings.
