This position is based in Plano, TX. The TFS Banking and Commercial Lending team is seeking a highly motivated IT Analyst, Vendor Management to join. The IT Analyst, Vendor Management will play a critical role in the oversight of the company’s vendor portfolio, with a focus on due diligence, risk assessment, ongoing monitoring, and performance evaluation. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in financial services, third-party risk, and a working knowledge of regulatory requirements such as OCC, FDIC, FFIEC, and CFPB guidelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in vendor management, third-party risk, or operational risk within the financial services industry.
• Familiarity of regulatory frameworks (FFIEC, GLBA, OCC Bulletin 2013-29, etc.).
• Experience with vendor risk management tools (e.g., Archer, ProcessUnity, Coupa, ServiceNow VRM).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Nice To Haves

• Master’s degree is preferred.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CTPRP, CRVPM, CISA, CISSP, or similar).
• Experience working with technology vendors in areas such as cloud services, payments, or data processing.
• Familiarity with Security & Technology 3Rd Party Certifications (SOC2, ITIL, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Lead vendor risk assessments and due diligence reviews for new and existing third-party relationships.
• Coordinate with business units, legal, compliance, IT security, and procurement to ensure vendors meet internal and regulatory standards.
• Manage contract lifecycle tracking, SLAs, and performance metrics for critical and high-risk vendors.
• Support audits and regulatory exams related to third-party risk; maintain strong documentation and audit trails.
• Monitor vendor risk trends and emerging issues; escalate concerns as needed.
• Maintain and enhance vendor inventory systems and risk classification logic.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of vendor risk policies, frameworks, and tools.
