About The Position

As an Application Support Analyst, you will be a technical member of our application implementation & support team. You will learn our systems from the inside out, configure/troubleshoot/upgrade/maintain our application systems. This role is ideal for an independent, fast learning, and motivated individual who wishes to continue to increase their knowledge and mastery of system administration, automation and application support. They should be someone who can handle prioritizing multiple tasks without sacrificing quality. The ideal candidate will enjoy the challenges of problem solving and can think outside of the box when required, and can provide a consistently successful implementation experience to our clients, both internal and external.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of applicable experience in an IT environment
  • Ability to communicate on both technical and non-technical levels, as well as translate between the two
  • Strong technical diagnostic expertise including problem investigation, reproduction, and resolution skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task while maintaining a rigorous attention to detail
  • Ability to acquire new skills efficiently and thrives in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to work closely with multiple teams
  • On-Call and off hours support required at times
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in a Windows Server environment.
  • 1 - 3 years of experience with SQL (any flavor)
  • Strong understanding of troubleshooting diagnostics
  • Understanding of the basic concepts of application configuration

Responsibilities

  • Learning and achieving a good understanding of the technical operation of Customers Bank’s application software products.
  • Ensuring that service is provided to internal customers for a variety of applications and management tasks in a timely, efficient and customer-focused manner.
  • Monitor systems for alerts and warnings to proactively troubleshoot potential issues.
  • Assisting clients with SFTP related work; transferring files, troubleshooting connection issues
  • Assist in Azure environment application configuration and support
  • Involvement in application related integrations for planned efficiency, set-up and testing of file integrations
  • SQL database support basics and troubleshooting
  • Opportunity for Developing, updating, executing, and troubleshooting scripts that help improve or resolve application process issues.
  • Continual documentation and refinement of processes
  • Work with internal departments to configure and implement products
