You will:

Requirements

  • 6+ years in solution and enterprise architecture
  • 6+ years delivering large-scale system implementations
  • Experience designing and delivering GIS solutions using Smallworld and/or ESRI
  • Experience developing technical solutions using stacks such as MEAN, LAMP, or Microsoft .NET
  • 3+ years experience architecting end‑to‑end enterprise technical solutions
  • Strong SQL Server experience and knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle or MS SQL
  • Deep understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to work effectively in large, distributed organizations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with TOGAF or FEAF frameworks
  • Workflow management tools or process knowledge
  • Server and network configuration experience
  • Previous work in the Energy or Utility industry
  • Experience migrating Smallworld to ESRI UN (a major plus!)

Responsibilities

  • Develop both high-level and detailed technical designs that align to business requirements and architectural standards
  • Lead and coordinate all technical aspects of implementation, including application, database, security, and infrastructure
  • Ensure solutions comply with regulatory and security requirements across the enterprise
  • Guide technical teams and vendors in solution delivery, deployment, and integration
  • Contribute to architectural standards and create new definitions where needed
  • Champion innovation, process improvement, and operational enhancements
  • Ensure delivered solutions are high-quality, low-risk, and fit seamlessly into ongoing support models

Benefits

Final compensation is determined based on skill alignment, years of experience, and fair, market-based rates by geography.
