About The Position

The IT Business Analyst, Core Enterprise Applications partners with Business Leaders, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and IT to translate enterprise strategy into scalable solutions within the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne ecosystem. This role plays a critical part in driving clarity across complex, cross-functional ERP initiatives by leading discovery sessions, documenting end-to-end requirements, mapping business processes and data flows, and ensuring delivered solutions align with operational objectives, financial controls, and technical architecture. This is not a ticket-writing role. This position requires a systems thinker who operates at the intersection of business operations, enterprise systems, and technical architecture.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3 to 5 years of Business Analysis experience
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience supporting JD Edwards EnterpriseOne
  • Experience with one or more JDE modules such as Finance, Distribution, Manufacturing, Procurement, Inventory, or Sales Order Management
  • Strong understanding of ERP architecture and system integrations
  • Experience writing functional design documentation and supporting technical solution reviews
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex ERP issues
  • Strong data analysis and reconciliation skills

  • Understanding of financial controls and compliance requirements preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and foster our “people first” culture.
  • Lead structured discovery and requirements workshops across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Distribution, Sales, and IT teams
  • Translate business objectives into clear, testable functional and technical requirements within JD Edwards
  • Decompose large ERP initiatives into epics, user stories, functional specifications, and configuration documentation
  • Map current- and future-state business processes including Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, Manufacturing, and Inventory Management
  • Document integrations between JD Edwards and third-party systems such as WMS, TMS, CRM, banking platforms, EDI, and reporting tools
  • Define data flows and master data impacts including Item Master, Customer Master, Supplier Master, and Chart of Accounts
  • Identify risks, assumptions, compliance considerations, and system constraints early in the project lifecycle
  • Partner with JDE Developers, CNC Administrators, Architects, and Functional Leads during solution design and implementation
  • Support QA and UAT by ensuring traceability between requirements, test cases, and acceptance criteria
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation testing, and support release readiness activities
  • Identify and document process improvement and automation opportunities within JDE modules
  • Evaluate system usability, performance, controls, and long-term maintainability
  • Research JDE enhancements and recommend enhancements aligned to enterprise strategy
  • Create and maintain documentation including BRDs, functional design documents, process flows, decision logs, and training materials
  • Support change management through demos, training sessions, stakeholder communications, and go-live support
  • Track initiative progress, manage delivery planning, and provide visibility into risks, scope changes, and performance metrics
