About The Position

As an IT Buyer, you will play a critical role in supporting the procurement of materials, equipment, and services essential to building and launching our Terran R rockets. You will work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and finance teams to ensure timely and cost-effective purchasing aligned with our mission to revolutionize aerospace through additive manufacturing.

Requirements

Proficiency in procurement, supply chain, and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or Netsuite.
Strong negotiation skills.
Experience in purchase order creation and invoice management.
Advanced Excel skills.
At least 3 years of purchasing experience within IT or indirect purchasing in a manufacturing environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with strategic sourcing initiatives.
Ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.

Responsibilities

Process purchase requests into purchase orders using ERP systems efficiently and accurately.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather procurement requirements and translate them into RFQs and POs.
Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms to optimize value for the business.
Manage supplier relationships under the guidance of Category Managers to ensure quality and reliability.
Resolve procurement issues throughout the lifecycle of an order, including invoice discrepancies and delivery delays.
Support strategic sourcing initiatives to improve procurement processes and reduce costs.
