About The Position

The Sherwin-Williams IT Co-Op program provides students with the opportunity to grow personally and professionally, while building their resume through practical work experience withing a Fortune 500 company. Long term availability preferred (at least 1 full year). Position hours are flexible, part-time (maximum 28 hours per week). This role will report to the Sherwin-Williams Global Headquarters located at 1 Sherwin Way, Cleveland, OH 44113. Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company therefore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company’s staff, employees, and business relationships.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
• Must be currently enrolled in a university or college degree program actively working towards a degree in IT or Business related field such as finance or supply chain, with a strong interest in IT and Digital Technology.

Nice To Haves

• Basic accounting knowledge
• Coursework or working knowledge of SQL
• Rising Junior or Senior preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and maintaining user stories, RICEs and RAIDs in Jira.
• Help ensure that project documents are up-to-date and organized.
• Support the team in conducting research, gathering data, and performing tasks.
• Assist in system testing activities, including test case creation, execution, and results
• Assist in organizing and scheduling project related meetings.
• Assist in the consolidation and conversion data files from various sources into a standardized format.
