Job Summary: The IT Field Technician provides IT and Audio/Visual support to clubs within a designated geographical region. This position ensures that our Audio/Visual systems and IT infrastructure are properly maintained, reliable and meet the needs of our members and staff. Our culture is unique! Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Audio/Visual and IT systems installation and maintenance (required).
  • Strong understanding of audio and video technologies, including A/V receivers, projectors, and digital signage systems.
  • Proficiency in IT fundamentals, including network troubleshooting, hardware setup and configuration.
  • Experience running and terminating low voltage cabling.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong customer service skills and experience in providing clear and accurate instructions
  • Ability to travel between clubs on a daily basis
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a computer science/technology field of study is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for timely resolution of IT requests from end users seeking technical assistance via phone, email and ticketing system.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Audio/Visual equipment, including TVs, sound systems and digital signage.
  • Troubleshoot and repair audio and video equipment issues to minimize downtime and ensure a positive member experience.
  • Collaborate with IT team to maintain and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including Wi-Fi, VOIP phones, switches, and firewalls.
  • Support and maintain point-of-sale (POS) systems used for member check-ins and sales transactions.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
  • Train club staff on basic Audio/Visual and IT tasks and provide guidance on equipment usage.
  • Monitor equipment inventory and assist with procurement as needed.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and technological advancements to propose system upgrades and improvements.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation for Audio/Visual and IT systems and configurations.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, vendors, trade professionals, and other business contacts.
  • Other duties as assigned
