About The Position

We are seeking a customer-focused IT Helpdesk / IT Client Support Associate to provide hands-on, onsite technical support in a full office environment. This role serves as the primary IT presence for the location and plays a critical part in supporting internal employees with hardware, software, networking, and workstation needs. Requirements

  • 2+ years of IT support experience , including hardware deployment, system setup, and troubleshooting
  • 2+ years of customer service experience , with strong communication and professional etiquette
  • Solid understanding of Windows operating systems
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals and basic network troubleshooting
  • Experience supporting printers, desktops, laptops, and peripherals
  • Ability to manage fluctuating ticket volumes in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork skills with the flexibility to support varying schedules
  • Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Represents IT and the organization with professionalism and confidence

Nice To Haves

  • VPN support experience
  • Prior experience with internal ticketing systems
  • IT certifications or formal IT education (preferred, not required)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary onsite IT support contact for internal employees
  • Identify, manage, escalate, and resolve technical issues across hardware, software, and networking
  • Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals, drivers, and utilities
  • Support new hire onboarding, including laptop issuance, setup, and user orientation
  • Troubleshoot Windows operating systems, desktop and laptop issues, and printer connectivity
  • Perform basic networking and VPN troubleshooting
  • Monitor systems, identify issues, and take corrective action as needed
  • Manage 10-60+ daily tickets through an internal ticketing system, primarily via chat, with in-person support as required
  • Provide both onsite and remote IT assistance to internal employees
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the ticketing system
  • Represent the IT department professionally as the face of IT for the site
