IT Intern (BSA)
About The Position
River Run is a shared services organization that supports banking affiliates, Newburyport Bank, Pentucket Bank and Rollstone Bank & Trust. As an Information Technology (IT) Intern , you will work closely with the VP, Head of Lending Systems and other members of the IT team. This position will be based on-site at our of Newburyport, MA office. Internship Duration: June 1 – End of August approximately. Location: On-site – 63 State Street, Newburyport, MA Employment Type: Full-time Internship (40 hours per week) – Flexibility can be discussed on a case-by-case basis. You will learn how to: Assist with getting our Runbooks and other documentation organized. Get applications created in Visio with the process flows. Diagram all the key systems. A few of the key systems that support our business lines and that you would get exposure to would be: Meridian Link, Numerated, Sageworks, LaserPro, FIS Horizon, Quest Analytics, Quest Soft, amongst others.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
- Detail oriented and ability to work successfully with deadlines and time constraints.
- Strong decision-making skills and verbal/written communication skills required.
- General knowledge of database access and reporting tools.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and Visio.
- Ability to manage a process to completion.
- Professional demeanor and professional maturity required for working closely with clients, employees, and vendors.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
