Job Description: The IT department is seeking an intern for the summer of 2025. A qualified candidate that would be motivated, able to work in a team setting, and skilled in computer engineering, computer science or a related field. Responsible for all IT systems, hardware, software, data saving, and telephone system
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Completion of at least one year of coursework is preferred.
- Strong interest in IT-related fields
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Excellent troubleshooting and strong multi-tasking skills
- Ability to establish good relationships with employees of all hierarchy levels of the company
- Service Mentality
Responsibilities
- Provide system administration including installation and configuration of IT systems, databases, and applications
- Network and server administration, maintenance, and monitoring, including install and upgrade of all server related software and applications
- Perform maintenance on regularly scheduled operations activities such as backups, restores, outage reports, incident resolution and reports
- User support and service to facilitate a trouble-free, fast, and safe IT environment
- Final Presentation At the conclusion of the internship, each intern is required to deliver a 5–10-minute presentation to the team summarizing their experience. The presentation should include: An overview of the projects and tasks completed Key skills and knowledge gained throughout the internship Challenges encountered and how they were addressed Recommendations or insights for future improvements
