The purpose of the IT Junior System Administrator role is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the HOPES organization's computer networks. The IT Junior System Administrator supports the maintenance and daily operation of the HOPES organization’s network infrastructure, including hardware, software, and communication systems, under the guidance of senior IT staff. This role assists in sustaining a secure, reliable, and high-performing network environment that enables seamless communication and data transfer across the organization while supporting security and compliance requirements. The IT Junior System Administrator assists in the management of information and telecommunication technology at the center, provides technical support to staff as directed, and escalates complex issues appropriately. HOPES has an integrated team model approach to patient care. Key areas of support include Help Desk Tickets, network maintenance, Virtual Machine support, and participation in server and infrastructure tasks as assigned. As quality is every employee’s responsibility, the IT Junior System Administrator is required to uphold all standards and policies, and participate in quality improvement processes and meetings. For the same reason, current Behavioral Health patients/clients cannot be employed by HOPES.
