IT Operations Specialist
About The Position
The IT Operations Specialist will support, trouble shoot, and maintain computers and IT services. They will ensure the organization’s computer systems are functioning while meeting the needs of staff. They will maintain accounting systems infrastructure. Supports applications such as Microsoft Office, Teams, and other Engineering applications. Maintain the accessibility and reliability of computer systems while keeping company information secure. Assists with optimizing the use of technology and user interactions to further RMH’s business goals. This is a hybrid position (in office 3 or more days a week, with potential for remote work 1-2 days a week). The position will work collaboratively with the Network Administrator, users and service providers.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
- Experience: Prefer one year of experience
- Language experience with Java, C/C++, SQL
- Software and Operating System Experience
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
Responsibilities
- Technical fluency and integration of company and employee computer systems over multiple platforms
- Resolution of mixed-level complexity issues
- Assist with the commitments of network administration
- End-user device support
- Software support of PC and network operating systems
- Conference room audio visual support
- Hardware support such as installing new company hardware as well as trouble shooting and repurposing hardware
- Assist with onboarding of new hires
- Provides training and assistance for computer systems
- Develop and assist with accounting reports
- Review and update reporting tools
- Lead AI initiatives
