About The Position

We are seeking an experienced IT Operations & Support Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience to support and enhance our IT environment within a fast-paced AEC (Architecture, Engineering & Construction) consulting firm. This role blends Tier 2 end-user support with systems, cloud, and infrastructure responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both solving immediate problems and contributing to long-term operational improvements. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient IT operations that support business growth.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional IT support or systems administration experience
  • Experience supporting end users in a professional services or AEC environment preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V preferred)
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (MS-900)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)
  • Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) – preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 2 helpdesk support and escalation assistance
  • Support engineers and staff in a high-demand consulting environment
  • Administer Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID)
  • Support Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and file services
  • Assist with Hyper-V virtualized environments
  • Troubleshoot networking issues (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN)
  • Assist with Azure administration and cloud services
  • Maintain documentation and ticketing records
  • Participate in after-hours maintenance as needed
