The Crown Is Yours As an IT Operations Technician, you are responsible for the day-to-day operational activities that support the lifecycle of end-user technology. This role focuses primarily on imaging, provisioning, and deploying Macs, PCs, and mobile devices using device management platforms such as JAMF and Microsoft Intune. The IT Operations Technician works closely with Asset Management to ensure accurate inventory tracking, logging, and compliance throughout the device lifecycle. While the role is operations-focused, limited desktop support tasks may be assigned as business needs require.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in IT operations, endpoint provisioning, or a related IT support role
  • Hands-on experience imaging and managing devices using JAMF and/or Microsoft Intune
  • Familiarity with macOS, Windows, iOS, and Android platforms
  • Understanding of IT asset management and inventory tracking best practices
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized processes
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Image, configure, deploy, and secure Macs, Windows PCs, and mobile devices using JAMF and Microsoft Intune in accordance with company standards
  • Prepare new and replacement devices for end users, ensuring timely delivery, readiness, and proper enrollment
  • Partner with Asset Management to receive, log, track, audit, and retire IT hardware throughout its lifecycle
  • Maintain accurate records of device assignments, status, inventory, and lifecycle events
  • Manage incoming and outgoing equipment, including shipping, receiving, and device refreshes
  • Support new hire onboarding, offboarding, and other operational workflows while contributing to process improvements
  • Provide basic desktop support and troubleshooting, escalating complex issues to Desktop Support or other IT teams as needed
