About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY: Operates and monitors computer system and supporting hardware equipment; performs checks to verify systems are stable. Uses judgment and knowledge to help support staff with PC or software issue, print setup and diagnostics. Help with troubleshooting various issues for all departments, hardware preventive maintenance; troubleshoots system operating problems and determines the cause of system interruptions; resolves and coordinates problem resolution with in-house IT staff and occasionally opens tickets with CU Answers. Works until closing to ensure staff is supported and able to function. Helps with maintenance of equipment and keeps equipment clean and working. PRIMARY DUTIES Helps keep data processing functioning smoothly by supporting staff daily. Recommends changes as appropriate. Occasionally travels to branches when needed or when remote troubleshooting is unable to rectify the issue. Ensures that the computer stays up and available while the credit union is open. Assists other departments with trouble shooting computer equipment, problems and other data processing needs. Occasionally works with CU Answers to fix minor problems. Helps with maintenance of equipment and keeps equipment clean and working properly. Follows the expectations set in the Member Service Values. Ability to meet the attendance requirements for the position. Attendance requirements for this position are to be at work, on time, for each scheduled workday. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks.
