About The Position

The IT Product Line Analyst is a key technical contributor within Alcoa’s Information Technology and Automation Solutions (ITAS) department, responsible for delivering and sustaining digital solutions that enable Global Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and Operations teams. This role supports the full application life cycle—including requirements analysis, system configuration, integration support, data quality oversight, issue resolution, and continuous improvement. The analyst collaborates with global stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable, secure, and compliant technology capabilities while driving simplification, standardization, and modernization across the EHS and Operations product landscape. Success in this position requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of corporate EHS processes, and the ability to ensure applications meet performance, privacy, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technical disciplines such as Engineering, Computer Science, etc.
  • 2-3 years of experience with products and solutions to support complex, large-scale applications (EHS preferred)
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team-oriented environment, demonstrate teamwork and initiative, and function productively in the face of new assignments and the re-prioritization of existing assignments.
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving & excellent active listening skills.
  • A fundamental understanding of IT Service Management, IT compliance / Sarbanes-Oxley and data privacy regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; PowerBI is a plus
  • Understands the importance of data single source and data lineage
  • Knowledge of Project Management methodologies
  • Support the business across multiple time zones in a global environment (some out of business hours)
  • Ability to work in multicultural & virtual team environments
  • Strong analytic and decision-making abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience developing and supporting integration among different applications & experience in Data Analytics or Data Science, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work with customers to ensure their needs are fulfilled and support optimizing business performance
  • Develop strong relationships, provide services to these business areas, comprehend current conditions, business needs and recommend/implement cost effective changes for existing processes and systems
  • Develop and maintain Data Interfaces within systems (RDBMS and Rest API)
  • Work closely with the business customers on reporting and data analytics needs (Power BI, Global Data Warehouse)
  • Safeguard that service delivery meets their agreed objectives and supports company strategic priorities.
  • Develop and document project requirements, including detailed specs, work estimates, timelines, deliverables, milestones and risk management.
  • Supports the compliance and risk management requirements of the portfolio
  • Stays current with technology trends and innovations and collaborates with IS Architecture & Governance, Integration, Infrastructure, Data Architects, Security, Data Privacy and other groups to ensure right adoption of business solution used by these areas.
