IT Product Manager – Automotive Product Information Systems Our IT team designs, develops, and integrates technology solutions to streamline operations, drive innovation, and enhance business results. The IT Product Manager plays a critical role by facilitating the development, analysis, and optimization of quality IT solutions and data management processes. This position serves as a vital link between business and technology teams, guiding the development of IT solutions from initial planning through launch and ongoing post-production, with a focus on Product Information Systems. Key Responsibilities Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and manage strategic roadmaps for Product Information systems, setting clear objectives, success metrics, and key initiatives. Ensure alignment with our business goals and market trends and lead strategic planning efforts to define product vision and direction. Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, and developers to collect, analyze, and prioritize user requirements. Translate business needs into actionable product specifications, emphasizing data-driven decision-making to maximize value. Product Development & Delivery: Oversee the full product lifecycle, partnering with technical owners to deliver high-quality features and enhancements on schedule. Participate in quality assurance and engineering efforts, monitor progress, and leverage analytics to identify and address improvement opportunities. Data Management & Governance: Establish and maintain effective data governance processes to ensure accurate, up-to-date product information. Facilitate efficient data exchanges with internal and external systems and stay current on automotive industry data standards to enhance product performance. Performance & User Experience Optimization: Gather and analyze user experience (UX) feedback and system performance metrics. Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement in system efficiency and data accuracy. Stakeholder Communication & Alignment: Communicate product updates, progress, and challenges clearly to stakeholders, including management, IT teams, and business units. Use data-driven insights to align expectations and support informed decision-making. Collaboration & Backlog Management: Create and manage work items (initiatives, epics, stories) and prioritize the product backlog in partnership with technical application owners. Lead planning, review, and status meetings to ensure product features meet strategic goals and user needs. Product Manager and Technical owners serve as experts on assigned products and associated users/customers and together are responsible for the business success of the product.
