About The Position

Job Summary: Oversee the design, development, and modification of more complex application programs and IT infrastructure solutions for specified projects. Provide advice for lower-level project managers. Plan and analyze assigned projects, establish schedules and project parameters, and set procedures. Manage project budgets and estimates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4-5 years’ experience in business development position, or related field with a focus on strategic technology implementation.
  • Must demonstrate analytical, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and with others.
  • Strong technical computer programming and trouble-shooting skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced or Master’s degree in related field preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Certifications in big data analytics or coding programs such as Python, JavaScript, or C++ is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provides oversight for the design, development, and modification of complex application programs and IT infrastructure solutions within specified projects.
  • Plans and analyzes assigned projects, establishes comprehensive schedules, parameters, and procedural guidelines.
  • Manages project budgets and estimates, ensures financial accountability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Fosters effective communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders, contributes to continuous improvement initiatives using project management processes and methodologies.
  • Leads project requirements collection, documentation, and traceability, ensuring all project deliverables align with approved business and technical requirements.
  • Identifies, assesses, and manages project risks and issues; develops mitigation and contingency plans to minimize impact to scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
  • Coordinates cross-functional resources, including internal teams, vendors, and third-party partners, to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Ensures adherence to organizational project management standards, governance frameworks, and change management processes.
  • Manages project scope through formal change control processes, evaluating impacts and obtaining appropriate approvals prior to implementation.
  • Prepares and delivers regular project status reports and executive-level updates, clearly communicating risks, dependencies, and key milestones.
  • Supports project closeout activities, including documentation, lessons learned, and transition of deliverables to operations or support teams.
  • Provides guidance and mentorship to lower-level project managers and contributes to the continuous improvement of PMO practices and methodologies.
