About The Position

OBJECTIVE: Responsible for planning and managing the execution of IT projects of medium to large size & complexity. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential job duties that are specific to the position. 1. Leads or contributes to the overall design, selection, installation, modification, and operation of an information systems capability. 2.Understands and applies Project Management practices. 3.Follows standard procedures for a particular set of applications. 4.Develops documentation and delivers training in the fundamentals of various applications. 5.Scheduling expertise and cost management. 6.Authority to complete assignments according to standard operating procedures; Exercises own judgement in proposing a solution for handling non-standard assignments. 7.Developing cost estimates, project plans and execution of projects 8.Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION, LICENSE, CERTIFICATION, and EXPERIENCE Minimum education, licenses, certifications (if any) and experience needed to perform the essential duties of this position. Education Bachelor’s degree in information technology. Experience in lieu of education considered. Experience Minimum of 7 years of applicable and proven experience in leading Information Technology / Services Projects. Licenses Valid Driver’s License. Certifications No professional certification required. PMP certification preferred. No clearance requirement but the contract and/or the site requires US Citizenship to be approved for access. (includes NACI / T1, MRPT, CAC): Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location. ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Aligned with Fit-For-Duty evaluation requirements. Requirements
