The Iowa State University Information Technology Services (ITS) is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead technological initiatives that directly support our institutional goals and strategic priorities. This role is ideal for a project management professional who enjoys working across diverse technical domains and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders and technical teams. You will facilitate project meetings, drive decision-making, manage expectations, and ensure that project communications are clear, consistent, and tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will also identify and manage project risks and issues, coordinate resolutions, and maintain all required project documentation and reporting artifacts. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and demonstrated experience managing IT projects. You should be comfortable working with cross-functional teams, balancing competing priorities, and maintaining a high level of documentation discipline and stakeholder engagement. Familiarity with both traditional and agile project management approaches is highly desirable, and professional certifications such as PMP®, CAPM®, or PMI-ACP® are preferred but not required. If you are a proactive, detail-oriented IT Project Manager who thrives on bringing structure, clarity, and accountability to complex initiatives, we encourage you to apply and help us deliver technology solutions that advance the mission of Iowa State University.
