About The Position

For more than 45 years, CXtec has been helping organizations maximize value in their IT investments. We are the largest secondary market network hardware provider in North America. Today, we remain focused on providing creative lifecycle management solutions for organizations of all sizes, all over the world. We are seeking an IT Quality Control Administrator who will play a key role in ensuring the stability, reliability, and overall quality of our IT systems and web applications. In this role, you will partner closely with Web Application Development, Business Analysts, and Infrastructure teams to perform structured testing, validate system changes, and identify defects early in the process. You will help uphold a stability‑first delivery model—reducing production issues, preventing regressions, and increasing confidence in every release. This role requires someone who can execute a full range of testing activities—including functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end‑to‑end workflow testing—to ensure applications perform as intended. The ideal candidate validates system behavior against business requirements, documents and tracks defects, verifies fixes, and supports IAT/UAT testing efforts. They maintain test cases and regression suites, contribute to release readiness, and collaborate closely with developers and analysts to clarify expected behavior and identify risk areas. Success in this role depends on strong quality focus, attention to detail, accountability, clear communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement, including assisting with root‑cause analysis and enhancing testing processes, standards, and tools. The annual base salary range for this position, based out of Syracuse, NY, is $62,353.00 - $72,509.00. The actual salary offered will vary based on applicant’s relevant skills, education, experience, certifications and geographic location as well as other business and organizational needs.
