About The Position

A IT Security Analyst contributes to AHF by protecting the organization’s technology infrastructure that supports life-saving healthcare services across domestic and global operations. This role ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of electronic health records (EHR), pharmacy systems, financial platforms, and cloud-based collaboration tools. The Analyst actively monitors security alerts, analyzes system logs, conducts vulnerability scans, and investigates suspicious activity to prevent data breaches and operational disruption. A IT Security Analyst enhances the reputation of AHF by maintaining strong cybersecurity controls that safeguard protected health information (PHI), donor data, and internal systems. Through proactive threat detection, incident response participation, and adherence to HIPAA and applicable international data privacy regulations, this role reinforces patient trust and organizational credibility worldwide. You will be a passionate advocate for our top initiatives. The IT Security Analyst will work as a part of a close-knit team to Monitor and respond to SIEM alerts and endpoint protection notifications, Conduct vulnerability assessments and track remediation efforts, Support incident response investigations and root cause analysis, Assist with audit preparation and compliance documentation, Maintain security policies, procedures, and standards, Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning, Provide end-user cybersecurity awareness support and phishing prevention education, Contribute to strengthening AHF’s security posture across U.S. and international sites

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
  • Security+ certificate required.

Responsibilities
