About The Position

The JELD-WEN Summer Internship Program empowers talented undergraduate students to gain real-world working experience and professional development in one of our business areas. This position is focused on the Garland Texas area. The internship program includes meaningful projects and challenging work assignments geared at developing professional competencies and skills in a chosen discipline. Additionally, throughout the summer internship, participants will have the opportunity for professional development, mentoring, and networking opportunities to help enhance future leadership.

Requirements

Fix/maintain/troubleshoot printers
Update floor, office, and managers’ computers with Windows Updates, Adobe, and Java
Optimizing current computers for usability and speed
Support Pallet Program
Support scanners
Other hardware/network support as needed
Assist in training as new software/hardware tools are available
Fix user issues as possible
Maintaining IT Inventory
Mobile Device Support
Must be available during inventory
Need general excel knowledge
Other duties as assigned by the Plant Technology Lead or Digital Manufacturing Manager

Nice To Haves

Minimum GPA of 3.0
Relevant internship or previous work experience
Leadership experience and relationship-building skills
