This role is vital in supporting and optimizing the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system for Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare’s imaging services and cardiology departments. Will be one of three Senior Analysts leading a strong CORAL-B Applications team. Maintain strong positive working relationships amongst other applications and with operational partners. Positive outlook and upbeat personality are a must.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in IT, IT management, software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, computer information systems, applied engineering, health information management (HIM), health informatics, nursing informatics, nursing, health science, education, business administration, health care, or a related field.
Human Resources (HR) may accept directly related work experience on a 1-year:1-year basis for required education. [NOTE: Experience credited in lieu of formal education will not be credited toward the minimum experience requirement below (i.e., the same experience will not be counted twice).]
Four (4) years of directly related professional experience
Analytical Problem-Solving: Ability to translate complex clinical requirements into technical designs and troubleshoot high-pressure system issues.
Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to act as a liaison between surgeons, anesthesiologists, and IS leadership.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities, such as system upgrades and new optimization requests.
Seamless Knowledge Transfer: Open collaboration fosters a continuous learning environment where junior analysts and consultants can quickly gain institutional knowledge, ensuring the team remains resilient despite staffing changes.
Improved Stakeholder Trust: Analysts who model a strong team ethic build higher levels of psychological safety and transparency, leading to stronger partnerships with clinical end-users like surgeons and anesthesiologists.

Related Epic certification(s) required. Multiple certifications may be required depending on functional area and job responsibilities. Required certification(s) must be obtained within ninety (90) days from last class completion. If a required certification is not obtained after three (3) examination attempts, the incumbent has a period of thirty (30) days after the last examination attempt to apply for other job opportunities within the organization. If unable to acquire another position within the organization, the incumbent’s employment with Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, Inc. (TMH) ends.

Responsibilities

System Configuration: Lead the design, build, and maintenance of OpTime (surgical) and Anesthesia modules to ensure efficient clinical workflows.
Workflow Optimization: Partner with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to analyze current clinical processes and implement high-impact system enhancements.
Incident Management: Provide expert-level troubleshooting for application issues, managing service requests and system errors to minimize disruptions to patient care.
Implementation & Upgrades: Coordinate system testing, validation, and go-live support for regular software upgrades and new module deployments.
Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a critical link between clinical end-users, Information Services (IS) leadership, and Epic TS to ensure the system aligns with organizational goals.
Documentation & Training: Develop and maintain detailed technical build documentation and collaborate with educators to support end user adoption.
Team leadership: This role is vital in supporting and optimizing the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system for Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare’s imaging services and cardiology departments. Lead projects and upgrades: Manage and lead complex system upgrades, new feature implementations, and other enhancements related to the Cupid and Radiant modules.
Optimize workflows: Collaborate with clinical and operational departments to analyze and optimize workflows, ensuring the Epic system meets business needs and improves patient care.
Manage system changes: Document, configure, and implement system changes based on user requests and organizational needs.
Develop and test solutions: Create functional specifications, develop test scripts, and perform unit, system, and integration testing.
Provide training: In coordination with a Training team - develop and deliver training to end-users on new or updated functionality.
Ensure compliance: Work to ensure the system is configured and maintained in compliance with healthcare regulations, such as HIPAA.
