About The Position

Carter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C. is hiring an IT Support Analyst. The IT Support Analyst is responsible for consulting with users regarding software, hardware, process and system requirements needed in designing, testing, and improving systems; deploying and maintaining the company’s personal computer environment along with troubleshooting and resolving software and hardware problems for computer users. Seeking candidates with a m inimum of two years computer software experience; Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Information Technology, preferred; Experience interfacing with computer users. Requirements for the IT Support Analyst position include: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software. Practical understandings of Network support/troubleshooting. Practical understandings of Mobile application support/troubleshooting. Demonstrated knowledge of PC Software setup and configuration Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be able to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment. Must be willing to travel as needed, including overnight stays. Physical requirements must be met for the IT Support Analyst job, including regularly being required to sit and talk or hear.
