About The Role As an IT Support Associate II, you will use your skills to support the operations team in resolving technical problems within Amazon operations facilities in a defined geographical area that span across a multitude of technical disciplines. From troubleshooting and resolving issues with existing IT equipment to deploying new technology solutions, there's never a dull moment. Your day might include: - Racing against time to get a critical scanner back online - Setting up new laptops for incoming associates - Problem-solving network connectivity challenges - Collaborating with teams to implement technology improvements - Being the go-to tech expert for our operations teams No two days are exactly alike, and that's what makes this role exciting and rewarding! About the team As part of the NBOS2 IT Team, you'll play a vital role in helping our operations teams in their mission to deliver smiles to customers in the region. In this position, you will: - Provide essential IT support that keeps our operations running smoothly - Partner with multiple teams to resolve technology challenges - Manage and maintain critical equipment that powers our daily operations Be part of a dynamic team that embraces our core values: 1. Requirements

  • Experience troubleshooting integrated and interdependent computer systems
  • Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service
  • 1+ years of Windows, Mac or Linux Operating systems support experience or equivalent experience
  • Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service

Responsibilities

  • Allocating, maintaining, and troubleshooting of IT equipment used in Amazon Operations facilities.
  • Handling support requests and procedures across the network.
  • Assisting in training new hires.
  • Continuous learning of new technologies.
  • Supporting customers from multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote customers.
  • Moving up to 49lbs as well as standing and walking for shifts lasting up to 12 hours.
  • Traveling within your local or regional area to support our customers.
  • Flexibility with schedule, shift rotation between days & nights
