About The Position

The Service Desk / IT Support Specialist will be the first line of support for Speed Bay’s employees, delivering excellent customer service and ensuring stable operations across our modern Microsoft 365-centered environment. You’ll manage daily support requests, onboard and offboard users, maintain end-user devices, and assist in continuous infrastructure improvements as we scale.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of IT support or service desk experience in a modern cloud-based enterprise environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows 11, and Intune device management.
  • Familiarity with Entra ID, SharePoint, Teams, and Exchange Online administration.
  • Experience with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
  • Basic understanding of network fundamentals, endpoint security, and identity management.
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service mindset.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple issues in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Defender for Endpoint, Endpoint Central, or other RMM tools.
  • Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell or Python).
  • Familiarity with Dropbox Advanced, Adobe, Asana, or Yardi Voyager.
  • Experience supporting both Windows and macOS devices.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft 365 certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all IT support requests (hardware, software, network, and account access).
  • Manage requests and incidents through FreshService ITSM platform, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
  • Support user onboarding/offboarding, including device setup, Intune enrollment, access provisioning, and license management.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Windows and macOS endpoints, printers, and peripherals.
  • Administer user accounts and permissions in Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), and related systems.
  • Support Teams Phone, SharePoint, Exchange, and related M365 services.
  • Conduct basic network troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to external partners or IT leadership.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, procedures, and asset inventory.
  • Assist in system rollout, patch management, and device lifecycle planning as the company scales.
