About The Position

The IT Support Specialist (PTS) resolves incoming user support requests regarding software technologies involved in the FPS PTS program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • One year of IT Customer Support experience required.
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Ability to test software and hardware to evaluate ease of use and whether product will aid user in performing work.
  • Write and/or revises user training manuals and procedures.
  • Train users on software and hardware onsite or in classroom
  • Technical support experience: Microsoft Windows 2008/2012 Server Microsoft Active Directory Microsoft Exchange Microsoft Office 365 Microsoft Windows 7 / 10
  • May be required to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the workday.
  • Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the company Post Tracking System (PTS) tablets are completely operable at all times.
  • Maintain PTS tablets, build, troubleshoot, configure and manage.
  • Administer and troubleshoot PTS.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
  • Train users, supervisors and managers on PTS.
  • Other duties as assigned.
