About The Position

The IT System Administrator I position at the Corporate Office is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of the company's information systems. This role involves assisting with user login credential processes, managing current hardware and software, and acting as a trusted advisor to various departments regarding their technology needs. The administrator will also be responsible for training employees on new and existing technologies, monitoring software licensing, and maintaining security protocols through multi-factor authentication. Additionally, the role may involve managing projects as directed by the Director of IT.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent preferred.
  • 4+ years’ experience in Microsoft Windows Server system administration, including Active Directory, Windows 2003 Server, Windows 2008, and Windows 2012.
  • 2+ years’ experience in Microsoft Exchange Server system administration.
  • 2+ years’ experience in VMware, VDI, vSphere in medium to large sized businesses.
  • 1+ years’ experience in Microsoft Internet Information Services system administration.
  • Experience installing/configuring servers, back-up servers, printers, and domain controllers.
  • Knowledge of CDK DMS is considered a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license without restrictions that affects your ability to operate company owned vehicle(s) and ability to maintain a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with the user login credential processes for the company and its subsidiaries.
  • Assists with the company’s current information systems hardware and software while assessing future needs.
  • Acts as a trusted advisor with company departments to identify and recommend technology needs.
  • Assists with training employees in the use of new/existing hardware and software.
  • Assists various departments with new technology and new software rollouts.
  • Monitors and maintains software licensing and maintenance agreements.
  • Uses personal device to provide an additional layer of security for company network and site access through multi-factor authentication.
  • Works, thinks, and delivers results for the company as an IT Asset Management practitioner.
  • May manage other projects as requested by the Director of IT.
