Requirements

  • 3-5 years of career-focused work experience, preferably in IT or technical project implementations.
  • Understanding of security MDR / XDR tools and how to utilize them.
  • Familiarity with NIST and CIS frameworks.
  • Experience with Windows Server and M365 / Azure administration.
  • Understanding of secure system design principles and network architecture.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft applications and project ticketing systems.
  • Ability to adapt to diverse work environments and competing priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience / Understanding of ERP / accounting system principles, general functionality, and operational benefits.
  • Experience with building integration and automation processes.
  • Knowledge of data visualization and management tools.
  • Knowledge / Understanding of ADD Systems, Microsoft Dynamics, PDI, SAP, or other ERP tools.

Responsibilities

  • Security Monitoring & Response: Monitor and manage security systems, including MDR / XDR tools, and M365 / Azure tenant security. Work with technology teams to respond to immediate alerts, MDR / XDR cases, and potential security incidents. Ensure compliance with organizational security standards and protocols. Manage patch / vulnerability monitoring and deployment of software platforms and updates. Work closely with Technology leadership and proactively generate continuous security improvements / recommendations.
  • Infrastructure Administration: Administer and maintain Windows Server / M365 Environments. Perform routine system maintenance, troubleshooting and updates. Assist in administering network equipment for company locations. Develop project plans, track milestones, and ensure timely delivery of objectives. Identify opportunities for process improvement, whether through technology or procedural enhancements, and implement solutions to optimize workflows. Define and monitor KPIs, metrics, and success measures for each project and process improvement initiative.
  • General IT Administration: Work to identify automation opportunities within the technology environments to streamline IT operations. Assist with higher and potentially more complex, technical issues. Work to document and centralize critical processes and procedures. Identify, test, and potentially implement cutting-edge technologies to enhance business operations. Lead or contribute to technology projects while organizing and prioritizing tasks.
